Lee is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT); he has his Masters degree in counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family from Jacksonville University, as well as a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX.
Lee is ready to help you. He has been working with couples for the past 26 years (especially in the military), and in Jacksonville since 2009. He has vast experience with the military community, having served in uniform for more than 30 years –experiencing individuals, couples and families in some of the most stressful and trying times of life.
Lee has years of experience with the Prevention and Relationship Education Program (PREP), and has training in Gottman techniques, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), as well as ‘RelateWell’ and other evidenced-based family therapy theories and interventions. He has completed training in Discernment Counseling, a method to help couples on the brink of divorce to gain clarity and confidence about a direction for the relationship and its possibilities for the future.
In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife of 32 years, being an active member of his local church, and most recently enjoying time with grandchildren.
