Lee is ready to help you with relationship woes that may be plaguing you. He and Rebecca (his wife of 34 years) have experienced the great and awesome moments of marriage as well as some of the heart break that comes. It is in this experience of his own marriage as well as working with couples for the past 26 years (especially in the military), and in Jacksonville since 2009 that invites you to the counseling room. He has vast experience with the military community, having served in uniform for more than 30 years –experiencing individuals, couples and families in some of the most stressful and trying times of life.
Lee has years of experience with the Prevention and Relationship Education Program (PREP), has training in Gottman techniques, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and is a Master Trainer in ‘RelateWell’ and other evidenced-based family therapy theories and interventions. He is also a certified Discernment Counselor, a method to help couples on the brink of divorce to gain clarity and confidence about a direction for the relationship and its possibilities for the future.
In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife of 34 years, being an active member of his local church, and most recently enjoying time with grandchildren.
Lee is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT); he has a Masters Degree in counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family from Jacksonville University, as well as a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX.
